Delaware: New System for Service Providers

The Delaware Secretary of State (DE SOS) is expected to launch a new format this July, giving service providers like Parasec access to fully streamlined filing and retrieval processes.

Delaware: Alternative Entity Franchise Tax Deadline

Every limited liability company, limited partnership and general partnership that is registered to do business in the state of Delaware is required to pay an annual tax of $300 (up from $250 last year) due on or before June 1, 2015.

Georgia: Non-Real Estate UCCs

Pursuant to Georgia statute, original non-real estate UCCs can be filed in any of Georgia's 159 counties—meaning there is no requirement that it be filed where they're doing business or reside.
