Nevada: Foreign Corporation Publication Requirements

Foreign corporations doing business in the state of Nevada are required to publish an annual statement in a Nevada newspaper (with a total weekly circulation of at least 1,000) pursuant to Nevada Revised Statute 80.190 (NRS 80.190).

The law requires that the statement appear in two issues of a daily newspaper prior to the end of March or the third month following the close of the fiscal year for those not operating on a calendar year basis. The statute does not provide for any extensions.

Foreign corporations that fail to comply with NRS 80.190 are subject to a $100 per month fine. Furthermore, foreign corporations that fail to comply are not authorized to transact business in the state.

To assist your corporation in complying with Nevada law, Parasec can handle the publication of said statement for you. If you have any questions or are interested in learning more, please contact our Nevada office by phone at 888.972.7273 or by email at
