Effective July 1, (pursuant to Senate Bill 1043) the filing fee for documents filed with the county recorder has been changed to a flat fee of $30 per recording document (except plats and surveys) in the state of Arizona. The flat fee eliminates the need to determine recording fees, which were previously based on a variety of factors including: number of pages, indexing categories, additional referencing recordation numbers, and more.
Please note that filing of military discharge and child support paperwork will continue to be recorded at no cost. Fees for recordings by government agencies will be $15 (except plats and surveys).
