The Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs’ Business Registration Division (BREG) is reminding all state-registered businesses that the filing period for first-quarter annual business reports is now open. Businesses that were originally registered in the first quarter (January through March) are required to submit their annual reports by midnight (HST) on March 31, 2025, to avoid incurring a late filing penalty.

Businesses can conveniently file their annual reports online through the state’s official business registration portal at this link. The filing period is determined based on the entity’s original registration date, and reports can be submitted at any time during the designated quarter.

Timely submission of annual reports is essential for maintaining compliance and keeping business records up to date with the state. Businesses that fail to file on time may face penalties and possible administrative action.
